site offers links to over 5300 universities, colleges, and
technical schools in 152 countries. It is searchable by
"catchword" and continent as well as alphabetically by
country. This directory is maintained by ionos GmbH, a

His most significant photographic projects include work in
New York, Eastern Kentucky, India, San Francisco, and his
series on American composers. The database is searchable
by collection and field and includes a chronology of his life
and work. "Contains 4920 photographic images, 1214

Smithsonian Folkways Database of Recordings -

Database of recordings originally issued by Folkways,
Smithsonian Folkways, Paredon, Cook, and Dyer Bennet
labels, covering the years 1948 to 1986. Over 35,000 track
listings, searchable by album or song title, year recorded,
label, instrument, genre, or ethnic, national, and geographic
attributes. Any text that appears in an entry, including notes
and abstracts, is also searchable. Boolean searches
possible in the Any Text search. Great source for early
country and bluegrass, blues, and world music recordings.
Unfortunately, does not include lyrics. See the New
Releases section for recordings released since 1998; they
