Project Level: Basic

Curriculum Area: Arts, History and Social Studies, Information Technology,
Language

Technologies Used: Email

Full Project Description:
Each class will be asked to discuss what they can see outside thier window.
First they will
be asked to look literally at what they see. Then to imagine
the whole world outside and what are the good and bad things that happen
out side the
safety of their classrooms. Students will then be asked to illustrate and
write about
the best and worst
thing about their area/country/culture as they see it. These will be
created into an
online book about students hopes and fears.

Objectives:
Have children compare what is important to them. What they see as positive
and negative intheir worlds
To see things from an others perpective. To be able to write about their
world.
To develop some cultural exchange between participating countries. We are
hoping the initial discussions
and presentation of windows will lead to the creation of further exchanges
and
learning.
