My students are working on legends. They are interested in Big Foot, and
would like e-mails from around the country on real life sightings of Big
Foot. My students will then use these stories to help them put together a
newscast on a Big Foot sighting.

Full Project Description:
My students are working on legends. They are interested in Big Foot, and
would like e-mails from around the country on real life sightings of Big
Foot. My students will then use these stories to help them put together a
newscast on a Big Foot sighting. My goal in doing this project is to help
my students lear how to e-mail, learn about legends, and to teach
interpersonal skills. Participants that are interested i assisting us will
be asked to collect stories of Big Foot sightings and e-mail my students so
that they can compile enough stories to create a newscast that would be as
realistic as possible. In preperation for this research, my students will
be reading the book Sasquatch by Roland Smith, and then using the library
and internet to find information on Big Foot. To conclude our project they
will put together a vidio which we will share with other classes.
Objectives:
My goal is to teach students about legends. Also to help my Special Needs
students with interpersonal relationship skills, by having them perform in
front of a vidio camera.
