People around the world have discovered an amazing variety of ways to travel

communicate. In this project, offered by the international Kidlink
organization,
students will learn how, thoughout human history, people have invented and
re-invented their ways of getting themselves around and getting ideas
across.

How did the first humans communicate? How did they travel?
What kind of symbols or letters did the first natives in your
country use to send messages?
What sort of inventions have influenced the development of
communication?
In what way have these inventions influenced the
development of countries?
We'll find the answers to these and more questions during
this Kidforum topic .
Objectives:
Objectives:
To help students improve their communication skills, through guided writing
and
artwork
To help students understand the interconnectedness of cultural elements,
especially
transportation and communication
To help students understand the importance of major inventions and
innovations
in transportation and communication
Outcome:
A Web-based collection of student writings and drawings, showing the
evolution
of transportation and communication in their countries.
