Millie, Olly and Syd, the Australian Olympics mascots, would like to visit
schools around the world, and stop off for the Sydney 2000 Olympics in
September before returning home to Western Australia.

Full Project Description:
Millie, Olly and Syd, the Australian Olympics mascots, would like to visit
schools around the world, and stop off for the Sydney 2000 Olympics in
September before returning home to Western Australia. They will arrive in
your school with lots of information about Australia and the Olympics. After
a brief visit, during which time they will e-mail back to our school so you
can learn lots about us, and we about you, they will be posted on to their
new destinations. In Sydney they will e-mail all the schools they have
visited with up to date information about the Olympics.
The project web site will include lots of information about the Olympics,
and Australia.
Objectives:
Responsibilities of Participating classes:
1. Host Millie or Ollie in your classroom for 2 - 4 weeks.
2. E-mail back to our school to let us know that they have arrived, and
tell us about the class.
3. Write in the journal which will accompany Millie and Ollie and tell us
of their adventures with you.
4. At the designated time, send them on to the next class.
