Online communities are key to building website traffic and loyalty--and
O'Reilly Software is extending its WebBoard product line to offer
webmasters a new range of sophisticated tools for creating communities
on their sites.

See demos of these products in the WebBoard Master series at
Internet World LA, April 5-7:

WebBoard Data Master

Coming in Summer 2000, WebBoard Data Master will provide a powerful set
of tools for managing large groups of WebBoard users. Bulk user
management, auto-expiration of users, and archiving of conference
discussions are some of the features that make it easy for webmasters
to keep online communities current and capture their discussions. We
will be showing a prototype of Data Master at Internet World.

WebBoard Host Master

The first release in the WebBoard Master Series (February 2000), Host
Master is indispensable for creating unique and diverse online
communities. Host Master adds multiple domain name support and
improves logical naming for distinct communities, so that each
discussion board can have a unique, easy-to-remember name. For example,
Huge Biz, Inc. can create a forum for the sales team at
http://sales.hugebiz.com rather than
http://webboard.hugebiz.com/~sales.

WebBoard 4, Windows Edition for MSDE/SQL Server

Nothing opens the lines of communication like WebBoard. Since its first
release, WebBoard has promoted communication, information sharing, and
the entire concept of electronic community. Now, with the release of
WebBoard 4.0, communication has become easier than ever. This popular
web-based discussion and chat software is used in virtual offices and
classrooms, corporate intranets, and hundreds of online forums. Easy to
set up and administer, WebBoard's familiar format lets users share
information immediately and effortlessly.

WebBoard 4, Windows Edition for Oracle 8/8i

The power and versatility of WebBoard teams up with the power of Oracle
8/8i data computing to deliver an enterprise discussion and forum chat
for medium to large business. Available Summer 2000.
