BookPALS is a "program of the Screen Actors Guild Foundation, dedicated
to exposing children to the magic of books to develop a love of
reading. Our all-volunteer team consists exclusively of professional
actors - SAG, AFTRA, and EQUITY members - who read aloud to children at
public elementary schools an at-risk neighborhoods, helping introduce
them to the world of reading and literacy. Includes book
recommendations and reading tips."
