Being a mother of 5 children, I am constantly searching for inovative
ways to keep my kids excited about learning. In January, I found out
about the "Race to Save the Rain Forest"! My kids have really enjoyed
getting information about the Rain Forest, and ask every day how much
of the Rain Forest we have helped to save. They feel a personal
accomplishment with each additional square foot saved! My children
range from 18 to 6, and they really enjoy talking to one another about
the Rain Forest now. This heightened awareness and learning opportunity
presented us with a win-win situation!
The Race to Save the Rain Forest is a quick, FREE and easy way to help
save the rain forest (takes just a simple point and click), plus it's a
great source of information about the rain forests, conservation,
wildlife, and the impact we all have upon our environment. I'm really
glad I got my kids involved. My daughter even found information for her
sixth grade report on wolves through this web site!
To check out the "Race to Save the Rain Forest", just click on the
button located at http://www.magicalweb.com/ (up to once per day) or
click on this link http://rainforest.care2.com/i?p=599820745 (or cut
and paste it into your browser.) It's that easy! Each click generates a
donation, paid by advertising sponsors, to The Nature Conservancy's
Adopt An Acre Program.
Currently, the Nature Conservancy is working with its long-time
Bolivian partner, PROMETA, to purchase nearly 4,000 acres of land to
create an ecological corridor between the Tariquia National Flora and
Fauna Reserve in Bolivia and neighboring Baritu National Park in
Argentina. Kids get a chance to learn about how a place so far away can
have the potential for a great impact on their lives.
Revenue is generated to save the rain forest each time you click
the "Save the Rain Forest" button. This money goes directly to the
Nature Conservancy's Adopt an Acre Program.
100% of revenues is donated by Care2 from the Race for the Rainforest
to The Nature Conservancy's Adopt an Acre Program.
Take a moment -- it's FREE, and it's simple! Just click on this link
http://rainforest.care2.com/i?p=599820745 (or cut and paste it into
your browser.) It's that easy!
Oh, and if any one associated with a school, or any child wants help
with the html to place a Race for the Rain Forest button on their
page, I would be happy to help -- FREE!
Sincerely,
Magical Web
