Project Title: WE DON'T HAVE ANOTHER ATMOSPHERE

Project Summary:
In our environment all waste mix the air; exhaust, factories, home
furnaces, spray cans etc. And these all pollute the air. All living
organizms are badly affected by this pollution. The purpose of this project
is to teach affect of air pollution on plants.

Full Project Description:
AIR POLLUTION
In order to teach affect of air pollution on plants we can create this
procedure : water is boiled an avapourated in the glass prizm.
In order to see the affect of air pollution on nature, we should organize
excursions in to the surroundings of big factories.
The best possible teaching way is to make excursions to forests in order to
see the affect of acid rains on plants.
Objectives:
Materials : sulphur, water, water boiler, green plants, spoon, alchool bac,
a glass prism one side is open, the remaining three sides are closed in
order to conduct an experiment in it.
Result : In the atmosphere not only SO2 but also CO and CO2 cause acid
rain. This harms on all living organisms especially plants.

Registration Instructions:
Sulphur is put in the spoon and burned. (Or the same expreminet can we done
with an iron wire is sinked in the sulphur.) Than they put it in a reaction
with water steam. (SO2+H2 O - H2 SO3) The green plant has been put under
this reaction place. This reaction should be continued about 20 minutes.
After 30 minutes we can observe that the leaves turn yellow. If we wait for
1-2 days we can observe that the plant partially or totally die.
When sulphur burned out, it unites with O2 inthe air and (S + O2 - SO2) can
be obtained.
Sulpur dioxide unites with water vapor, (SO2 + H2 O - H2 SO3) sulpuroz acid
can be obtained.
If this drops on the plants, they can die.
