Subject: September Hello from KEYPALS INTERNATIONAL
Greetings,
We invite you to visit
KEYPALS INTERNATIONAL http://www.collegebound.com/keypals
Our mission remains the same - to provide an interactive communication
network to schools around the world. Through talking to one another, peace
and goodwill will be created. The only thing we ask is a link from your
page to KEYPALS.
Since we spoke to you last August, KEYPALS has:
1) Indexed 600 more schools, bringing our total global network to over
3000.
We are unique in that we link BOTH URL and email address.
2) Welcomed new schools from every state in the US, Hungary, Argentina,
South Africa, among others.
3) Tripled our FREE CLASSIFIEDS. This exciting 'interactive' feature is
what brings people back. We welcome your ads.
4) Been designated a "HotSite" by USAToday
5) Developed an image map of Europe. (We are working on Canada &
Australia)
6) Made a new friend in Hungary, where our entire site will be mirrored to
make it easier for European students and teachers to download.
7) Created a new NATIONAL / INTERNATIONAL BOARDING SCHOOL page
Finally,
a) we are considering a page in KEYPALS for country or state
educational organizations. If you are part of one or know of one,
please contact us at fireston@collegebound.com
b) AT&T Jens, an organization from Japan, is seeking international
schools for a collaborative effort with schools in Japan. The mission
is to create 'virtual classrooms'. Teams will consist of 1 Japanese
class and 2 from around the world. Visit http://www.kids-commons.net/vc/
SINCERELY, GREER FIRESTONE
