Some users will already be familiar with the OpenOffice applications, but for those who haven’t run across it yet will be equally pleased to learn that there is a new version of the program available. The application includes a number of features that will allow users to create text documents, presentations, diagrams, and databases. With an interface that is similar to a number of existing commercial products, OpenOffice 2.1 is easy to use and to understand. Finally, users of this program can save their documents in a variety of formats. This version is compatible with computers running Windows 98 and newer or Mac OS X and newer. [KMG]
