Ann,
I'm not sure about the update record issue, but I know that keyword
searching can often be restored by using the Rebuild Search Database option
in the Portal Administration window.
I've gotten to where I use this option after any changes in the system.

Hi all,
We upgraded to 1.4 and here is what I've noticed:
1. Keyword searching is not working. I type in a single word and I know I
should get several hits but I get nothing.
2. When I click "update record" or "add resource" after entering metadata
the screen goes blank. The metadata does get processed but the page that
usually comes up after hiting update (the one with the metadata record) does
not. I have to completely
close down the browser and reopen it.
We thought the upgrade from 1.3 to 1.4 would help. Does anyone have ideas
on how to fix these issues?
