[SPT/CWIS] content caching w/ smarty

Would you advise using Smarty for content caching (at the page level)?   

I believe this can be done by creating cache IDs with the query parameters,
I would probably intervene at the top of AdvancedSearch.php,  for example,
unless no search processing is done by CWIS until the custom
AdvancedSearch.html in the custom UI directory.
