[SPT/CWIS] "Empty" Search results

Hi,

We've been experimenting on our installation with bulk importing of 
records in various formats - so as a result SPT has had a few 
cancellations and duplicates amongst it's resources.

The way we remove duplicate or test resources is simply deleting them 
from the resources table on the database. I think this is probably not 
enough?

The problem we have now is if you go to the advanced search and search 
by keyword, a lot of now deleted items still come up, as empty records, 
but still taking up spaces in the search results.

Is there anything I should be doing, or anywhere I can go to completely 
remove these empty ghost records?
