[SPTUsers] Response time

This _might_ be because of slow writes by MySQL. I
found a speeding up after removing the description
field from the keywords in the metadatatool.
Essentially, this means that the search index is not
updated with every addition. But then, you have to
rebuild the index manually every now and then from the
admin panel. Between rebuilds, your users will have to
search using the terms within apotrophes.
Someone else may have a better idea?
