[SPTUsers] importing users problem and html in descriptions

OK, thank you very much for the suggestions. I will try the changes you
suggest. I also had not noticed the "sign up for an account" area - I
had been looking for an Add New User selection under administration.
I will need to make big changes to the Advanced Search page, and may be
asking for some help when I get around to that - I need to shift the
Audience filter up to the top of the page - before the title/URL search
boxes.
Question: is there a way to modify the code so that I could use simple
html tags in the descriptions? Like clickable links, line breaks, bold
text, etc.
