We're running SPT 1.1.2 on Solaris 8 and have the same problem.  I posted 
a message about it to this list back in early May but got no responses at 
that time.  Also, the SPT support folks weren't sure what was causing the 
error.  They thought at first it might be due to us using an older 
(pre-4.02) PHP version (before the imagetypes()function was defined) but I 
don't think that's it since we're using PHP 4.2.3.

If anyone has any ideas, please share them with the list, since there are 
now at least two of us experiencing this problem.
