Dropdown might work for a small set, such as textbook publishers. Some
sites might have a specialty such as "mystery novels" and have a wide
assortment of publishers. Dropdown could be a configuration option.
I suggest a text box with an "Add to Resource" button...the logic would
then look for "similar" existing Publishers and present those, along
with what was actually input. These checkboxes could be right on the
Add/Edit Resource page, as they would be displayed unselected. If the
actual input is chosen (confirmed), the new Publisher will be added --
if that user is authorized to create new Publishers.
"Simone" would produce checkboxes for "Simone", "Simon & Schuster",
"Simon & Kolz"..and perhaps branches of some of those.
Probably if "Simone" is not already defined, next to the checkbox should
be the textbox for entering a Variant.

Also have "Architecture", "Canada", and "Indoor" be separate anchors, so
clicking on "Canada" implies "Add" and then displays the classifications
under "Architecture--Canada" as if a Search had been done.

Multiple entry. Good idea.
