Ooh, I like that phrase.

If you browse classifications, you'll see the main classification top 
and center, with sub-classifications listed below.  Next to the main 
classification is an "Add" button.

To add a classification inder a sub-classification...Click on the 
sub-classification, so it becomes the current classification.  Top and 
center will be that name, with an "Add" button.  Click there to add the 
second-level classification.
