Available from Europa's Euro site (discussed in the April 18, 1997 Scout Report), the Euro Papers are an on-going series of publications on "technical and practical issues related to the introduction of the euro." Currently, papers are available on diverse subjects such as the impact of the euro on Mediterranean partner countries and the legal implications of the European Monetary Union.

Available in eleven languages, three connection speeds, and Java and non-Java versions, the site promotes the currency with enthusiasm. Animated images display the new notes, which flip from front to back to show both sides.
