This site, originally developed in 1997, is gradually being repositioned to better serve the way local history materials are now being presented by the Cleveland Memory Project and other collaborations.

Heather Maltonic, Christine Liebson and Jane Dempsey made important contributions to this site during their practicums from the Kent State University School of Library and Information Science, 1999-2003. Kelsey Rogers subsequently (2020) moved much of it into the Local History Research Guide, as the CDL was finally being retired. "THANK YOU" to them all!
