There is no admission charge to visit the Iron Range Research Center. Access to certain archival collections does require assistance from the Archivist on staff, so please call ahead at 218-254-7959 or contact us by email to schedule an appointment.

IRRC Archives

The archives consist mainly of unpublished documentary materials such as audiovisual collections, government records, manuscript collections, map collections, and photographic collections.

Persons interested in using the archives should schedule an appointment in advance with the Archivist at archivist@mndiscoverycenter.com or 218-254-1229.

Iron Range Veterans Memorial Website

This website provides a searchable database of information about veterans from the Iron Range region.  Organized by Press-Lloyd Post #247 of the American Legion, the site is now managed in collabration with the Minnesota Discovery Center.
