CEC Lesson Plans

Founded in 1972, the Columbia Education Center (CEC) is a private educational service organization based in Portland, Oregon that designs and disseminates teacher training and curriculum development projects, many of them federally funded. The CEC Lesson Plans page offers a large number of teacher-submitted lesson plans organized by grade level in five categories: Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Miscellaneous. Plans are clearly written, standardized, and they cover a wide range of topics. At the main CEC site users will find funding tips and resources as well as an overview of current CEC projects in the Northwest US.
