National Weather Service: Climate Prediction Center

The mission of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)'s Climate Prediction Center is "to maintain a continuous watch on short-term climate fluctuations and to diagnose and predict them." To that end, the site's main section, Climate Spotlight, offers a current monthly/seasonal forecast, updates on La Niña, a new tutorial on El Niño/La Niña, daily precipitation monitoring (including Alaska and Canada), and the US snow update. More detailed information and weather data (including color maps, tables, concise summaries) are also provided in Data & Indices, Forecasts, Climate Monitoring, El Niño, and Stratosphere, among other sections.
