The Byzantine Studies Page offers a concise introduction to the field, important writings,teaching aids, and several other items of interest. Users can access collections of syllabi and course outlines, read calls for papers, reference guides, book reviews, articles, or a Byzantine Paleography, and download relevant shareware. In addition, the site offers information on discussion lists and links to galleries, music collections, and to original documents at the Medieval Sourcebook (discussed in the March 12, 1996 Scout Report). All told, this is an excellent collection of resources that is continually updated and expanded.
