Global Climate Maps: Tour Guide

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations has created Global Climate Maps which show rainfall, temperature, sunshine fraction, climate classification, the Koeppen Climate Classifications, and biomass potential.

Global warming is caused by increasing quantities of greenhouse gases being emitted into the atmosphere. Such gases include carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and toxic pollutants. Estimates of temperature increase range from 2-6.5 degrees Fahrenheit in the next 100 years.
