People may generally be familiar with the struggle for civil rights, but how many know about the racial injustices committed against entire black communities in Harrison, Arkansas or Pierce City, Missouri one hundred years ago? This thoughtful and troubling documentary on the forced removal of black residents was produced as part of the Independent Lens series on PBS.
