U.S. and Russian Policymaking with Respect to the Use of Force

This available report from the Rand Corporation examines issues with respect to the former Soviet Union. U.S. and Russian Policymaking with Respect to the Use of Force is the result of a conference held in September of 1995, and is divided into two sections: Russian Cases (5, including Chechnya, Georgia-Abkhazia, and Trans-Dniestria), and American Cases (6, including Lebanon 1982-84, Panama and Haiti, and Yugoslavia 1989-96).
