Ethics and Nutrition

This thoughtful collection of materials related to ethics and nutrition was created by the folks at the American Physiological Society (APS) in honor of National Nutrition Month. The items here include teacher-developed studies that explore ethical issues related to nutrition and agriculture. The topics explored include meat consumption and alternatives, population growth and resource depletion, and the regulation of foods such as energy drinks and fast food. Currently, there are over a dozen documents, including "Where are my friers?" "SHMEAT, Meat Without Slaughter," and "Food Aid and Population Control." Visitors can look over these items by grade level or sign up to add ratings, comments, and find out when new materials are added.
