The National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) (described in the October 2, 1998 Scout Report) provides the Submarine Upward Looking Sonar Ice Draft Profile Data and Statistics. This dataset contains submarine data collected in April 1992 from Navy cruise L2-92, September 1993 from SCICEX-93, and September and October 1996 from SCICEX-96. Data from the Royal Navy is also included from April 1976, May 1987, and April 1991. A map tracing the path followed for obtaining the data is available at the site. Data for this set is available via FTP.
