Jaguar: Lord of the Mayan Jungle

Anyone interested in the third largest of the big cats and habitat preservation in South and Central America should enjoy this site, the latest virtual trip from OneWorld Journeys.com (last reviewed in the August 18, 2000 Scout Report). The site features reports and images from a January 2001 expedition to find and radio collar a jaguar in the Yucatan Peninsula, an exploration of the mythological and ecological role of the jaguar, and a discussion on jungle ecology. These sections include numerous photos and Flash features.
