Hossein Arsham, Professor of Management Science and Statistics at the University of Baltimore, developed this site for his Applied Management Science course. The intent of the course is "to provide decision makers and analysts with tools that provide a logical structure for understanding problems as well as mathematical techniques for solving the problems that have been formulated." The web site contains notes on the methodology of management science, implementation of management science projects, optimization, linear programming, and formulation of network problems.
