This web page, from the Nanotechnology Applications and Career Knowledge Support Center (Nack Center), includes introductory nanotechnology modules in Spanish. "These modules are designed to be used in workshops, courses, and overview lectures to introduce nanotechnology and its applications." Topics covered in the ten modules include the history of nanotechnology, introductions to nanofabrication, nanotechnology in biology and medicine, and more. Users must create a free log in to access the materials.
This activity, from the STEM Action Center - Utah, challenges students to spend some time outside thinking about and observing organisms in their backyards. The lesson is intended for 4th graders and includes the aligning UT SEEd Standard. During this activity, students write down a list of organisms they see in their backyard and then write down any observations made.
