In a somewhat odd twist of new car
technology, IBM has developed
an electronic artificial passenger,
that tells jokes and engages you in
conversation, with the goal of preventing
accidents caused by drowsy drivers.
Among other measures, if the artificial
passenger decides you're dropping off
to sleep it may decide to open the
windows and spray you with icy water.
Yikes.
