Scottish Writers

Created by Scot novelist and critic Andrew Crumey, this site provides over 1,000 encyclopedic entries for the work and biographies of "novelists, poets and dramatists who were born or lived in Scotland." In addition, the site features a history of Scottish Literature written by Crumey, which is highly informative (though we wish it might have quoted from the literature more). A listing of useful online resources and an archive of Crumey's own book reviews for his Scotland on Sunday column are also posted here.
