Originally from Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Tyler moved to Madison as an undergraduate student in 2012 and is currently pursuing a major in Computer Sciences. Tyler started programming computers late in middle school, and by his senior year in high school had finished seventh nationally in Future Business Leaders of America's Desktop Application Programming competition. In the same month as he was hired at Scout, Tyler learned he was accepted as a member of the Wisconsin Singers band (as the band's sole trumpeter) and began a course for his private pilot license at Wisconsin Aviation. In addition to messing with the insides (both hardware and software) of Linux computers, aviation, and all that is to do with music, Tyler enjoys bicycling, going to sports car races at Road America, speaking German, and substituting British spellings in American English.
