Jessica grew up in suburban Chicago and attended high school near Rockford, Illinois. When the time came, she decided to attend Southern Illinois University - Carbondale with aspirations of becoming an interior designer. That dream quickly changed, and she ended up receiving a BS in Speech Communication and Public Relations. After having lived in Illinois her whole life, she and her future husband moved to Boise, Idaho for a period of six years. Jessica really missed lightening bugs, so she packed up her whole family and moved back to the Midwest. Jessica is currently pursuing a MA in Library and Information Studies at UW Madison while working at Internet Scout. She spends her spare time attempting to make recipes featured on The Great British Baking Show, retrieving Cheetos out of her daughter's nose, and exploring various "swing-'n-slides" around Madison.
