The annual joint conference of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) is an “international forum focusing on digital libraries and associated technical, practical, and social issues.”
Participants from across the fields of computer science and librarianship are encouraged to submit paper and panel proposals, as well as proposals for tutorials and workshops, by January 19, 2020. The deadline for poster and practitioner proposal submissions is March 1, 2020. This year’s conference focuses on “innovation in Digital Library theory and practice, construction of sustainable ecosystems that help people create knowledge, and the promotion of societal transformation in a time of rapid change.”
While initially scheduled to take place in Wuhan, China at Wuhan University’s School of Information Management, the conference will be held online due to COVID-19. The conference will run from June 19-23, 2020. Those looking to register can learn how to do so here.
