ONLINE: ALA Midwinter Meeting 2021

This year's ALA Midwinter Meeting & Exhibits will take place online, between January 22-26, 2021.

The event will include discussion groups on a range of subjects (e.g., pedegogy, anti-racism work, and artificial intelligence); News You Can Use sessions, which "offer the latest updates from experts on policy, research, statistics, technology, and more, based on new surveys, reports, legislation/regulation, and projects;" and a Symposium on the Future of Libraries series. 

Featured speakers include 23rd Poet Laureate Joy Harjo, actor and author Ethan Hawke, and many more. The event will also close with a conversation between Dr. Jill Biden and ALA President, Julius C. Jefferson, Jr. A full schedule is available on the conference website.
