Originally from Minnesota, Julian is a graduate student in the MLIS program at UW-Madison. As an undergraduate, he did archival work at the University of Minnesota-Duluth alongside other local historical societies in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Julian appreciates how archives can help people feel connected to a time and place and is excited to start learning more about digital collections. In his free time, he enjoys speaking Brazilian Portuguese, playing fingerstyle guitar, and going for aimless walks while listening to music.
