On the "Administraton page", you can use "Export data" from one site, then on the other use "Administration / Import tab-delimited data". The site doing the import will need to have the same fields as the site which exported the data. Or alternately, the export datafile can be edited in a standard spreadsheet program to delete unwanted fields.
To get the classifications out, go to "Administration / Metadata Field Editor", click the field you want, and then use the "Export Field" button near the top right of the page. The file that is produced can be read with the same "Import" page that is used for resources. Note that when importing resources, classifications will automatically be created as needed. You'd only need a separate export/import step for classifications to catch terms that aren't in use by any resources.
