Navigation Editor

The Navigation Editor plugin allows system administrators to modify the navigation links in the row below the header and in the list at the top of the sidebar without having to edit any HTML template files. Each link can be configured to conditionally show up based on whether a user is logged in or whether he or she has a set of user access privileges.

Caveats

The plugin is intentionally simple and some configurations of links and the conditions under which they should show up might not be possible, e.g., it's impossible to show or hide a link based on whether the user specified that he or she is located in the United States on the user preferences page. In these cases, a custom user interface will be required. Please refer to the developer documentation distributed with CWIS for more information on creating custom user interfaces. It is available from the Developer Support section of the System Configuration page in CWIS.
