The YouTube plugin adds the ability to automatically upload video files to YouTube when they are added to a resource and display them in a video player on the resource's full record page. The plugin can also be configured to automatically delete uploaded videos from YouTube if removed from the collection. Since the video conversion and player are provided entirely by YouTube, this plugin provides an effortless way to add videos to a resource collection that are playable on a variety of devices and platforms.

Caveats

The video upload process takes place in the background and YouTube processes and converts uploaded videos, so it may take awhile for the video player to show up in a resource record. This is particularly true for large video files.
