Pages
The Pages plugin allows the creation and editing of web pages with free-form static HTML content, using a WYSIWYG (interactive GUI) interface. It can be used to allow non-technical development or administrative staff to add or maintain additional pages on a CWIS site.
Access to a page can be restricted by selecting one or more privilege flags, and users will have to have one of the specified flags to view the page. In addition, Pages also allows clean URL addresses to be defined for the additional pages, making them easier to reach and more search-engine-friendly. (Clean URL support added in the upcoming 1.0.2 version.)
New pages can be linked in via manually inserted links in interface HTML, via links in another Pages-managed page, or added to the site navigation via the Navigation Editor plugin.
Use
Typical uses of the Pages plugin might include adding and maintaining an About page for your site, or administrative areas like Privacy Policy or Copyright pages.
