The Rules plugin allows the specification of rules based on changes to resource metadata, that will trigger email to be sent to specified users or other actions to be taken. It is intended to be used in conjunction with the Mailer plugin to define email templates.
The Pages plugin allows the creation and editing of web pages with free-form static HTML content, using a WYSIWYG (interactive GUI) interface. It can be used to allow non-technical development or administrative staff to add or maintain additional pages on a CWIS site.
The OpenID Server plugin allows other websites to authenticate users who are registered on your site via OpenID. This can be advantageous if you manage a number of sites and want users to be able to employ a single account on all of them. For Drupal or phpBB sites running on the same server, you may wish to use the Drupal Login Synchronization or phpBB Login Synchronization plugins instead.

Users will then have the option of re-using an existing account to log in rather than being required to create a new one specifically for your site. The Navigation Editor plugin allows system administrators to modify the navigation links in the row below the header and in the list at the top of the sidebar without having to edit any HTML template files. Each link can be configured to conditionally show up based on whether a user is logged in or whether he or she has a set of user access privileges.
The My Resource Views plugin adds a box to the default UI sidebar of resources the user has recently viewed. Each resource title is linked to the full record page for the resource.
The box heading and the number of resources to display can be customized via the plugin configuration page.
The My Forum Posts plugin adds a box to the sidebar in the default user interface (or interfaces derived from the default UI) that lists recent forum posts by the user. Each post title is linked to the page on which it appears.

The Browser Capabilities plugin provides a programmer-friendly API for determining the features, type, and capabilities of a user's browser and operating system based on information sent to the web server when visiting a page from within CWIS. Developers can use it to determine if a user is browsing the site from Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, from Mac OS X or Windows, or even from a mobile device.
The Mobile UI Switcher plugin allows a different user interface to be specified to be used when a user appears to be accessing the site via a mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc).
